Congenital penis curvature
It is important to have in mind that the penis only bends during erection, when the tissues are stretched. In order to have a straight erection, all tissues that make up the penis must have the same resilience. When a man has a curved penis, the curvature may result from less resilience of the tissues outside the tunic or less resilience of the tunic itself, caused by problems during its formation. However, there are cases in which both problems are combined.

Peyronie's Disease
Many men seek a doctor because their members have shrunk, bent and because they notice a small "lump" inside. Some are even frightened by the suspicion of a dreaded form of cancer. Others have difficulty having sexual relations, for the difficulty in having erections.
